Além de confiança é importante saber diferentes formas de expressar-se para ter certeza de que a negociação está tomando o rumo que você espera.

As palavras abaixo podem possuir outra conotação quando não necessariamente relacionadas com negociação.

To Bargain

Bottom-line

Ex: I'll accept a raise of one dollar per hour, but that's my bottom-line.

Compensate

Compensar uma perda

Ex: If you are willing to work ten extra hours a week we will compensate you by paying you overtime.

Comply

Cumprir, Concordar

Ex: I'd be willing to comply if you can offer me my own private office.

Concession

Concessão

Ex: I think we can offer all of these concessions, but not all at once.

Consensus

Consenso

Ex: It would be great if we could come to a consensus about the company's goals.

Counter proposal

Contra-proposta

Ex: In their counter proposal they suggested that we keep their company name rather than creating a new one.

Deadlock

O ponto da argumentação em que as pessoas envolvidas não conseguem atingir consenso.

Ex: We reached deadlock quite early in the discussion, because they weren’t willing to listen to our arguments and they didn’t make any counter proposals.

Interest

Juros

Ex: The interest on my credit card is higher than the interest I get from my savings account.

Leverage

Algo que te dá poder em uma negociação

Ex: The supermarket chain really wanted that land, but the owner didn’t give in easily. He had a lot of leverage because the position was ideal.

Outcome

Resultado

Ex: Crystallize your vision of the outcome.

Save (money)

Poupar

Ex: Stop me if you've ever been in this situation before… wondering how to save money and build real wealth.

Viable

Viável

Ex: Successful people are those who have the greatest number of viable alternatives.
